July 16, 2026: Softball CANCELLED tonight due to poor air quality

Hello everyone,

Unfortunately due to the ongoing air quality concerns, we are again cancelling softball tonight - July 16, 2026. The air quality risk is projected to remain VERY HIGH or HIGH until tomorrow.

St. Catharines and Niagara Falls have also cancelled all outdoor sports events for today, and the Town of Lincoln has closed both the Allan F. Gretsinger pool and the Jordan Lions pool until the health risk drops to moderate, which is not expected until tomorrow.

We do not like to cancel games and we try not to. However the health and safety of our children needs to come first. We understand not all parents may agree with the decision to cancel, however we have to take the advice of environmental officials and do what is best for our kids.

Thank you for understanding. We are hopeful games can resume as normal next week.
